During the second quarter we are going to learn many new concepts in math. Here is a preview of what is coming:
Add, subtract, and multiply fractions and mixed numbers expressing in simplest form.
Know and explain the relationships between percents, decimals, and fractions.
Compare and order fractions.
Solve real-world problems by applying these measurement formulas:
Perimeter of polygons
Area of squares, rectangles, and triangles
Estimate to check whether or not the result of a real-world problem is reasonable.
Looking ahead at the second quarter:
What do you think will be the most challenging concept for you? Why do you think that it will be challenging?
What do you think will be the easiest for you? Why do you think it will come easily?

The Death of King Tutankhamun

What happened to King Tut?
Our goal is to determine what happened to King Tut over 3,300 years ago. Was it murder? Was it an accident? YOU decide!
Please respond to this post by blogging your answers to the following questions.
