I am looking forward to studying more about the Pyramids and how they were built.

It was surprising to me that the mummies were burried with so much gold.

Egypt and the United States are similar because they both play types of board games.

I think that the Nile river will be very important as we study Egypt. Without the Nile river Egypt would never have been successful.

I’m looking forward to studding about the gods and goddesses of Egypt and the mummification process. Something that I was surprised about Egypt was that they can farm so that they can live. I can’t believe that their civilization lasted for 3 thousand years. Egypt and America both farm. They are different because the live near the Nile River. I think one of the most important things that we are going to learn about is the pharaoh King Tut, temples, and hieroglyphics.

I am excited to write are name tags in hieroglyphics. I’m also excited to learn about king Tut. I think the Nile River is probably going to be the most important thing that we are going to learn. It surprised me that they buried the dead bodies in the dessert. Something else that surprised me was that the pharaohs built the temples and not the slaves if they had slaves. They are some things that we have in common and some things that are different between us.

I’m looking forward to learn about what “gods” they had and I’m surprised that they would take the brain and intestines before they mummified someone. Egypt is similar to the U.S. because they have people and both have a big river(s). What’s different about the two countries is that Egypt is mostly desert and the U.S. has forests and stuff. What I want to learn about mostly is about mummies and pyramids. Chris

I am excited about the pyramids. I am excited about mummies. I am excited about gods and goddesses. I think the Nile River is going to be important. I was surprised that the first mummy wasn’t wrapped up. The United States doesn’t mummify people.

I am excited to learn about mummification. Something I did not know about ancient Egypt is that they had temples. The difference between the USA and Egypt is America has states, presidents, and a car, Egypt has the Nile River, mummies, and hundreds of gods, but both countries have crops, and clothes. I think that is important to learn about Egypt is Egyptian life.

Some of the things that I am looking forward to studying is probably everything because I haven’t learned about this before. But I really want to know about the mummies and why they fed them and gave them water when they were dead. Also, why they buried them so much gold. I really want to know about King Tut and the pyramids. The thing that surprised me was that they still had to work in the field that long ago. Also, one of the kings built clay soldiers to protect him in the afterlife. The difference between USA and Egypt are there are different laws, the clothing is different, and there are kings which we don’t have. The things that are the same are that they have board games like we do. I think everything is important to me. Im really looking forward to studying this stuff.

I thought that Senet was exactly like mancala.

And im excited about hieroglyphics and learning about the Nile River.

I was surprised that Egyptians shaved with a razor like we do in America.

I think that the Nile is important to Egypt because there would be no water or animals that they could hunt.

I can’t believe That Egypt was around for 3000 years Before Christ! That is extremely Awesome! I Didn’t Think that was Possible! That is SO Coo!

Learning about God would Be Awesome Too! I think that there Are All Kinds of Gods, like a baby God & a sky God & a tree God!

Some of the similarities & differences between the USA & Egypt Are that we both believe in some sort of God. We are different because our climate Changes a lot, & their Climate is mostly Hot.

I also think that Learning About the Nile River will be very important. It is the most important thing in Egypt.

Some elements of ancient Egypt that I am excited to learn about are pharaohs, pyramids, and the mummies.

Something that surprised me was that they pulled the brain out of the mummy so that it wouldn’t rot.

Something that is different in the USA is that they in had Egypt they had pharaohs instead of a president.

some things that I think are important are pharaohs, pyramid, mummies.

The thing that I am most looking forward to studying about ancient Egypt is the pharaohs.

Something that surprised me about Egypt was that they have life around the river. I thought that around the river was desert.

The difference between the United States and Egypt is that Egypt is almost all of it is desert and they have a lot of gods.
The similar things that we share are we both play games, we both have cows, and we both have some type of government.

What I thing is going to be important is why they had gods for every thing.

Veronica,

I am looking forward to studying the pyramids in Egypt. I’m not surprised about anything really because I studied Egypt last year. I think mummification, the culture, and the pharaohs are going to be important when we study Egypt. Some ways Egypt is different from the united states is it revolves a river, they have mudbrick houses, and they have pyramids. Some ways that it similar are have an army, play games, and have gods.

I am looking forward to studying about mummys and mummification. I also want to learn why they have to make pyramids for the pharaohs, why couldn’t they burry them like everyone else.

I was surprised that had cattle and crops. I was also surprised that they were able to build those tall towers with out using any machines.

I think the Nile river, mummification, their way of life, pharaohs, and the pyramids will be important to Egypt.

Egypt is different from the United States in many ways. They have pharaohs, we have presidents. They have camels, we have cars. They are also similar in ways. We both have written languages.

I am much exited about mummification because I want to learn what the process was.

I was very surprised that there are 80 different pyramids in Ancient Egypt.

I think hieroglyphics, and the after life will be very important to study.

Egypt and USA similar and different one difference is Egypt is HOT!!! But USA is warm. A similarity between USA and Egypt is they both have sports.

I` m looking forward to study mummification because it sounds really fun and looks exciding.

Something I was surprised by were they have money and they have time also.

The stuff that is different from the U.S.A. and Egypt is U.S.A. has phones laptops and TV’s. And they have pyramids and Gods and Goddesses. And we both have rivers and cows.

Something’s I think is important are there pyramids there writing and the mummies. Also did you know when they die they pull out their brains.

I am looking forward to learning about mummification, gods and goddesses, craftsmen, and hieroglyphics. I was surprised at the fact that Egypt lasted 3,000 years! It also surprised me is that they stuffed a mummy with natron and placed amulets on the mummies body. Egypt is different from America because they had pharaohs and we didn’t. We are similar to them because we both collected taxes. I think gods and goddesses, pharaohs, mummification, pyramids, and their writing is going to be important.

Some elements I am looking forward to is studying is mummification and hydrolytic. I am looking forward to these because the sound really fun to learn about. I can not wait till we learn about the thing. I said. The thing that surprises me is that they have temples. The difference between U.S and Egypt is the culture. And the I think is similar is the make up a nation. I think it is important to study Egypt is to learn more about cultures.

Some of the things that I am interested in learning about is all the Pharaohs and what they did during their time being a pharaoh. I would like to know how they died. Another thing that I want to learn is all about the mummies and the mummification process. One more thing that I am excited to learn about is all of their gods and goddesses. I think it’ll be cool to learn all about them. That’s cool that they’re polytheistic. What surprised me the most was that way back then they had all these sorts of board games. It made me go WOW!!! Some similarities and differences between The USA and Ancient Egypt were in Ancient Egypt they had gods for different towns; they mummified dead people, built pyramids, and had pharaohs. In the USA you can have any god you want, we burry you, there are no pyramids, and we have presidents. Some similarities are we have games, rivers, and deserts. Some things that will be important in studying Ancient Egypt are understanding their culture, knowing their pharaohs, their geography, history, and their gods and goddesses.

I am very excited to learn about mummification and hieroglyphics. Some things that surprised me were that the Nile River is in Egypt. I thought it was in the U.S.A. Also, they had to smash dead people’s brains…. Ugghh! I think some important things are going to be Egyptian’s lifestyle, rulers and pharaohs, pyramids, and mummification. Lastly, Egypt and the U.S.A. are different because they make their houses out of mud and we make our houses out of cement. One thing that we have in common is that we both grow lotuses.

I’m looking forward to studying about the Nile River, because the Nile River is the largest river in the world and I think it is really cool. Another thing I’m looking forward to learning about the pyramids because they are really big and they have important artifacts. What surprised me is that the Pharaoh was the strongest of all warriors in that tribe. USA has the 2nd largest river in the world, but Egypt has the world’s largest river. Egyptian’s have Pharaohs, but we have the president. What I think is going to be important is the Pharaohs and the gods and goddesses.

I am looking forward to learning about mummies. Something that surprised me was that instead of mummies being buried in pyramids, they were buried in the ground. The difference between USA and Egypt is that they had pharaohs and we have presidents, we don’t take brain out from their nose, they have temples, we have wood and concrete and they use mud. Something that I think that will be important will be the life of an Egyptian.

The answers to my questions is I am looking forward to studying mummification, mummification I pretty cool. I was surprised that some of there gods and stuff have a head of an animal. Egypt is different than America because Egypt has a lot more sand than America, there the same because they both have some source of water well in this case river. The thing I think are going to be the most important thing in Egypt is mummification, temples, and pyramids.

I riverly like the Nile river.I really want to know more about the gods. I found out that the pharaoh went to war with the soldiers. I also found out that they made mud brick houses and had a game like trouble. I think that the Nile river will be important.

I am looking forward to learn about the different games they played.

I was surprised when I learned that in Egypt before they mummified people they took their all their organs and their brain out. Then they let them dry before they put them back in.

The United States was different because of what they used to build their homes. The Egyptians used mud and brick to build their houses were we don’t.

I think the Nile river will be important when we study Egypt because it was their primary food source.

I am looking forward to learning about the pyramids and what’s inside them. Egypt has a lot more history than the United States. They both have towns and cities. I couldn’t believe that the kings could be nine or ten. I think the important thing is knowing about their rulers

I’m looking forward to studying more about the Nile River. I was surprised when I found out they built there homes out of mud bricks! Of course the U.S. and Egypt don’t have the same language. But we both have famous rivers. And what I think is going to be important as we study Egypt is there language and the temples!!!

The pyramids are 8,ooo,ooo tons.

I am looking forward to studying Egyptian warfare, hieroglyphs, pharaohs, and religion.

I am surprised that the Egyptians never removed the hearts from mummies.

I think that the pharaohs and religion will be important.

America and Egypt are different because the pharaoh is worshipped and fights, meanwhile American presidents are just elected people and never fight. They are the same because they both separated from larger mother countries and became world powers.

I am looking forward to ancient Egypt, pharaohs and the mummification. One of the things I am going to talk about is many of the pharaohs went to war when there land was being threatened. And the pyramid weighs about 6,500,000. Every temple that they made was dedicated to a god or goddess. Now I am going to compare the two places. Egypt has field hands and we has farmer. Egypt has mud brick homes and we have bricks, cement, and wood.

I think the Nile River will be very important for the Egyptians.
I was surprised that the Egyptians took out the origins before they mummify the bodies.
America and Egypt are alike because Americans plays board games and so Egyptians.

I am excited to study about how pyramids were built.

I was surprised
About how the heart was the only organ not removed from the mummies.

Egypt is different than the U.S. because we do not have pyramids but we do have the same wild animals.

I think that studying the temples will be important and interesting because they are homes of the gods.

I’m looking forward it studying about the Nile river. I think it is going to be important how the pharaohs are buried

Some elements that I am interested about are the pyramids. Because I think how cool it was how they make them. They are so big I think It is hard to build something that big with out big machines. Another element I am interested in is the Nile River. I think it is important because it sounds like it played a big part in the Egypt life time. One thing that surprised me is that they made mud bricks for there homes I would kinda like it because it was probly pretty cold in there house. There are a few things that are different from the U.S. and the Egypt. One of the things is that Egypt uses hieroglyphics and the U.S. writes in English. I think that the Nile River is really important because they got all there water from there

1. If I as the most powerful person in the world I would stop the wars and make everyone stay in there country’s. I would make sure all the laws were not broken and if they were I would make them go to prison or make the pay a fine. I would have strong and extra good jails for everyone who disobeyed the laws. I would make people live in little cottages so that they would be easy to repair if something happens to there house.

2. It would be a good thing because I am trying to save the earth and all the people and animals an the earth. I would try to be the best ruler ever. I would try to be kind but if the laws were broken I wouldn’t be so nice.

1. If I was the most powerful person in the world, I would make the United States of America play sports or work-out or both. That way the USA would dominate the Olympics. I would also make every country except Australia not play sports because Australia is awesome and so is the USA. USA would dominate in the Olympics because I would have the Chinese gymnasts, the Jamaican and Kenyan sprinters, and Australia and the USA would combine to make the USAA (United States of America and Australia). No more killing and people will respect my authority.
2. Being the most powerful person in the world would be a good thing because no one could tell me what to do. I would also throw people I dislike and people who disrespect me WILL be thrown in the dungeon. I would also get to enforce the death penalty.
