I learned that there are about 1.25 million people living in China and that is about 1 quarter of the earth's population.
The scabbard was the main weapon used. They also used longbows that had great power and could shoot far distances.
The great wall of China was built by prisoners.
Qin Shi Huandi introduced a single currency this helped trade. Everyone would know what something was worth.

I have learned a lot of thinks today. Like ….The people believed never ending life. Jade and bronze were very valuable. They kept silk a secret for many, many, many years.
Did you know that china is the worlds 4th largest country? It’s true that China is the 4th largest country in the world. The Chinese people did ceremonies for their ancestors to try to persuade them to bring them good luck. The Chinese writing is called logograms. This is what I learned China today.

I just learned that for every 500 meters built of the Great Wall of China someone died. It was built to protect the Chinese from invaders.

Some things that I learned today were… That the ancient Chinese believed that life would continue after they died. They believed that your dead ancestors lived in the spirit worlds with gods. The Chinese use logograms. Jades and Rubies were the most prized materials in Ancient China. I also learned that the Chinese had kept the creation of silk a secret for many years. Silk became very popular all around the world.

The thing I didn’t know about ancient India was hat you couldn’t own a weapon only if you are in war. I didn’t know that the great wall was built by prisoners and conscripts.
• The Jade ornament was in a shape of a silk worm! YUCK! and their army protected china from invasion!
That china had a lot of silk and lacquer-ware and lacquer-ware made things like vases etc. but it made it look very pretty.

I Learned A lot About The Tombs and how their kind of like the Egyptians tombs and how there where under ground.These Ancient China Ones are kind of like that except they don't have a huge pyramid they have a little platform thin with wood and ...dirt.
Today I learned that China’s writing resembles pictures like a scorpion is going to look like a scorpion in China’s writing. It is really cool!
