1. Feudalism is a class system from medieval times where higher people that owned land had the lower people do the work for them. It organized the people. The monarchs were the highest rank and the peasants were the lowest rank.

Feudalism- a form of government with a king who was the extreme boss of the government. The king would give land to nobles who would have peasants too serve a need or a service apon the land.

The Middle ages where often called the dark ages because Greece and Rome had fallen. Castles used to be made out of wood. They could choose there weapons.

1. Feudalism is a system of political organization in Europe about the 9th to probably the 15th centuries, other wise known as the MIDDLE AGES!

2. Facts
A. During the Middle Ages KNIGHTS would use MEDIEVAL WEAPONS to protect themselves. The knights had to choose a weapon for battle. They sometimes knew that some weapons were stronger, but they mostly picked the ONE HANDED SWORD.
B. To defend yourself you had to wear HEAVY CHAIN METAL as a Suit. When they had to carry mail with the CHAIN SUITS they would probably call it CHAIN MAIL. That’s probably how we got the use of Chain Mail.
C. The KNIGHTS sometimes used CANNONS to Blow-Up some of the other CASTELS and to protect theirs! The fist CANNON to really knock down a castle wall was in the year 1377 AD.

1. Feudalism was pretty much the systems of safety and trustworthiness.

2. The knights had weapons to help defend themselves like chain mail, swords and maces.

They wore things called tunics, trousers and shawls which we still have today just called different things.

The castles had things like drawbridges, moats and barracks which were what knights and the knights family would live.

A. For safety in the Middle Ages people formed small communities around central lord or master.

B. If you were a peasant child you would have to wear whatever your family could afford. They really didn’t have a choice of what they could wear.

C. At age seven the kids would start training as a Knight.
