Similes and Metaphors - English Shorts

We finished editing our figurative language videos in class Thursday. The students did an excellent job explaining similes and metaphors in their videos. We used the design concepts from the Common Craft Show video series for this project. Thank you for the idea!

Please check out the videos and leave a comment about what you think.

Have a great day,

Mr. Ferrell

I think group 5 did the best and the rest of the teams did pretty good but not as good as team 5.

I liked team 5 because they hummed at the beginning of the show!

Also team 3 was cool because they said “Rewind, Play”

I liked the pictures on team 4. They were very clear.

Team 1: Get real music next time. I like the candy metaphor joke. It was very good.

Team 2: The camera moves a lot. It was as good as the Colts football team. They did great.

Team 3: Some people talked louder than others. The credits were really cool. They were great.

Team 4: It was hard to read the words. The angle was a good drawing but next time try to keep better track of the picture.

Team 5: Get two white boards next time. It is hard to see the warriors. Nice erasing, that was fast.
